Before I got my louis, I'd ordered a passport size travellers notebook to try as a planner. I'm too in love with my new agenda so I'll be saving the notebook for another time but I have set it up the way I want :)
I used my regular size midori for some of last year as a planner and really enjoyed it.
So, here's my set up. It's pretty much like my pocket size filofax in terms of sections.....
Here she is!
I love how vintage they look. I did treat my regular size with leather conditioner but I think (I'm may change my mind at a later date!) I'll leave this one to age.
Up front I have a pocket on the leather which is use for decoration but I also keep bits and pieces behind it.
I've got alittle camera in the pocket. I'm really into taking pictures so I thought it was rather appropriate!! And of course, my gold glitter! :)
I have the zipper insert at the front which I use as a dash. I've popped in some pretty paper and a glitter C 👌
Behind that I have extra paper clips, some notepages and a little man I've kept in both my travllers notebooks. He reminds me of my daddy bear!
The first insert I have is the MOTP.
I covered the notebooks with handmade paper which I'm really enjoying the look of :)
The order of diary and sections is just like what's in my planner.
Then my WOTP insert, again covered in really pretty handmade paper.
And lastly I have my bits and bobs notebook. It has notes, to-dos, my boys sections and important info that I could need at any time.
I really do like the travellers notebook and a planner. I think if I hadn't just got my Louis Vuitton agenda I'd have probably moved into it.
I like how vintage the book looks.
Size wise, the passport size is very close to pocket size.
In other news, it's been snowing! Only a tiny bit compared to what others have got but it came nevertheless!!
I'm also still loving my 11" Cambridge satchel! I usually switch bags pretty often but this one I've stayed in.
Lastnight I had the most amazing bubble bath! I had candles lit and I used a lush bubble bar. It was a lavender one and is called french-kiss which is also coincidentally one of my fave films! It was the loveliest bubble bar I've used so far.....
We also managed to re-book our highclerecastle tickets!! I was beyond excited to have got some more after not being able to make our trip at the beggining of december. I was so sure I wouldn't be able to get any until sometime next year, but hubby found them and we booked in seconds lol! Can we all have alittle pray that I'll be in full working action for the trip this time!! Lol!
I don't think I can explain how excited i am. A friend of ours has just gotten very into downton and she and her hubby also booked yesterday. I think the downton fever will hit everybody at some point lol!
Anyway, I'm off for a much needed cup of tea. (The boilers gone awol so I'm freezing!)
Lots of love
Char
