Saturday......
Today we decided to go for a walk, so we got the boys ready and came here, Coombe Abbey country park. I love it here, it reminds me of Downton Abbey!
The boys played at the park before we went on a long walk. It was alittle nippy, but was lovley to get some much needed fresh air!

Coombe Abbey is such a lovley, well kept place. My dad used to work in the hotel which started my love affair with it!
Its a huge park where you can walk for miles, play at the park, look around the little shops, sit and have a picnic or just enjoy the scenery.

We walked for alittle more than two miles in rain and shine (its been a strange weather day today!)
We found some little trails, a waterfall, went to say Hello to the ducks and baby bear found a pine cone! (made his day, it did)
I love the smell of being in a wood, it brings back so many lovely memorys of being a child and living a stones throw from a forest.
The boys were searcing for pine cones, squrials and bears!! (thank goodness we didnt find one!) They really enjoy have the run of such a big place.
My favourite time to come here is in the auntmn/winter. I love getting all bundled up and getting lost in all its gloriousness!
So, hurry up autumn so we can come again.
XOXO
